Exclusive operates this website, exclusive.com. We are the controller of the personal information you provide through it. If you have any question about this policy, or wish to exercise a right described below, please reach us through our contact form and we will respond personally.
We only collect information you choose to give us through one of our forms. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not build hidden profiles.
When you join First Access we collect your email address and, where relevant, the destination you are interested in. We use it for one purpose: to let you know when we have chosen the hotel for that destination, and to offer you the first arrangements we create with it. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw at any time and we will remove you.
When a hotel puts itself forward, we collect the hotel name and website, your name and role, your email, and anything you write to us. We use it to assess whether the hotel is one we would choose, and to correspond with you about it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in evaluating potential partnerships, and taking steps at your request before any agreement.
When you contact us we collect your name, email, subject and message, purely to read and reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Our site works without cookies. If, and only if, you accept in the banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. It sets analytics cookies and your IP address is anonymised. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other sites, and we never sell your data.
You can decline, or change your mind at any time:
We keep your information only as long as it serves the purpose you gave it for: First Access details until you ask us to stop or we no longer run the programme; a hotel enquiry for the duration of our assessment and reasonable follow-up; a contact message for as long as it takes to resolve, and a short period afterwards. We remove what we no longer need.
We share your information only with the service providers that make the site function, acting on our instructions as processors, for example our email delivery provider (to send and receive the messages our forms generate) and, if you consent, Google Analytics. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses apply. We never sell your personal information.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the information we hold about you, to correct or erase it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these, contact us through the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In the Netherlands, that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. For anything material, we will make the change clear.
